communities can make to the national dialogue is a commitment to inclusive
community. These communions are committed to understanding the teachings of
Jesus as a way of life that includes those who are poor, vulnerable and
searching for hope.
Revised October 17, 2005

At the request of members of The United Methodist Association of Communicators (UMAC), I have posted remarks I gave at the annual UMAC meeting, October 13, 2005 in San Antonio. To conserve space in the blog, I have posted this on a webpage as a downloadable document. If you have difficulty accessing this document, please drop me an email and I’ll get it to you.
